His personality on the phone and his knowledge of your industry is great! He explained the different options available to me with regards to the repair. He explained WHY my door was broken, and what is needed to fix it. Once compete, he showed me how SMOOTH the door now operates. Five Stars! Mike Maghakian was on time and very helpful. Our garage door broke. We were hoping it could be repaired. Unfortunately they don’t make the panels we have any more (19 years old) Mike showed us options to make the right decision on purchasing our garage door replacements He was very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Unlike my experience in 2013, I was quite disappointed with Precision the second time around. Will never contact them again. Had a simple problem with a broken spring. The serviceman quoted $700 to do that and a bunch of other unnecessary things. After saying no, he said he'll do the necessary for $400. Thought that was still very high to replace a spring so declined. BEWARE: there's a $135 charge for the service call. This is mentioned on the phone but nowhere in the confirmation letter for the appointment. I declined anyway and got the job done within 15 minutes as expected by a reputable garage door repair company in Nashua. And it cost just $225.

We are very sorry you didn’t have the experience you were expecting from us. We sincerely believe that our customers deserve to understand the condition of their door(s) and to have us make recommendations on what work is required to solve the immediate problem, as well as, what other things they should consider having done to their door (things that if left unattended will create future problems). Those other recommendations are the options that the customer implied we were chasing him with. In reviewing our safety inspection from the 2013 service call, we can see that we made several of the same recommendations (replacing worn or fatiguing parts that will cause future problems). Again, we feel it’s our job to make suggestions and to then perform the work that the customer wants. Honestly, it’s kinda unfair to position our options in any other way; specifically, to imply that we are suggesting unnecessary work is to simply not understand what a service company is there to do. Stated simply we provide up to three options and walk the customer through them (explaining why) and then perform the services that the customer feels is right for them. Despite serious cost pressures, the prices for the options provided in 2013 were the same as they were in May of 2018. We are totally upfront with our pricing – we do not do any work without receiving authorization. I’m not sure why the customer feels that we should mention our fees multiple times – once we get acknowledgement from the customer we assume they get it.

Tech Barry came right when expected. Expert repair done perfectly in minutes, plus he noticed a potentially dangerous problem with the coils that move the door up and down and repaired it. Outstanding service, pleasant and professional. Highly recommended.

When our garage door opener stopped working, I started calling random numbers for a repair and the quickest appointment I could get was two and a half weeks later. I kept trying and landed on Precision and saw the excellent reviews. I called and did, indeed, speak to a human who was able to get me an appointment in two days. She sent me an email confirmation of the appointment, named the repairman, and sent a photo for recognition purposes. This a very reassuring touch. The repairman, Barry, called an hour ahead of time and said he could come an hour sooner, if that was acceptable. I was delighted! He arrived, assessed the problem and immediately knew we needed a new sprocket. As advertised, the replacement part was stocked in his truck. Within a half hour the opener was not only working, but working more smoothly than it has in years. Barry was polite, efficient, and obviously knowledgeable. I am extremely pleased with his work and with Precision.

We appreciate your comments and understand that there is sticker shock when comparing the prices for our parts vs. those that are sold at Home Depot or Lowe's. The parts are in noway comparable. Parts from Home Depot come with a 30-day warranty, ours came with a 3-year warranty. You may not appreciate the quality of the parts now, but in 5 to 7 years you will.

I called and they scheduled the repair the next day. The technician, Brian was professional, explained and showed me the repairs. I needed a part that had to be ordered he scheduled to come back before he left so I knew the broken door would be working when he came back. Precision doors will be the company I will continue to use.

Recently moved to this area and relying on ads and reviews to find service companies. I was really pleased from my first call to request service ( 6pm on a Saturday) and actually spoke to a very helpful guy who scheduled me right away. The tech came when scheduled, performed the repair and the price was very reasonable! Couldn’t ask for more! Thanks to all involved in my transaction!
