I called and they scheduled the repair the next day. The technician, Brian was professional, explained and showed me the repairs. I needed a part that had to be ordered he scheduled to come back before he left so I knew the broken door would be working when he came back. After reading the customer reviews, I decided to go with Precision for the repairs on my garage door. I made the right decision. From start to finish, you couldn't have asked for a better experience. When I called, the person that I spoke to was friendly and pleasant. Service was provided quickly.....a technician was at my house in less than 24 hours to make the repairs to the garage door. The technician, Brian, was professional, polite, and even arrived a little earlier than the scheduled appointment time. He did an appraisal and told me what needed to be done and what the cost would be for the repairs. Brian was efficient and the repairs took less than 45 minutes to perform. I liked it that there was no "hard sell" to purchase something that I did not need or want and that the company gives a 10% Senior Discount. I will not hesitate to recommend Precision Door Service.

our service was great , our technician was working in zero degree weather for hours with no complaints. He was communicative, reliable , hard working and responsible, his name was Adam. The office worked well for us and even though there was a bump or two in the road they attended to whatever was needed quickly in fitting our door. We highly recommend them .

Tech didn't have wires attached on electric eye. Probably why electric eyes would not light.

Our best guess is that the wires were not correctly installed. The opener worked when we left, but obviously we hadn't done the original job properly. We apologize for any inconvenience and are obviously happy to come out and provide warranty work (free of charge). Again we are sorry our first attempt to fix your opener wasn't as promised.

I had one side of my spring/cable broken. The smallest estimate was $379 and the largest was $699. I could not afford these repairs at this time but just wanted everyone to know what type of money you are looking at to do these repairs. They had to charge me $79 to come out to my house which is refundable if I go ahead with the work in the future (not sure how long future is). The Technician was very professional. I really had no idea how expensive these garage doors are to repair and therefore my post.

To be fair, there was a lot was wrong with Mr. Rizoli's door. The $379 price included the $79 service fee, springs, new safety cables, and new lift cables. Also the $699 option rebuilt his whole door and came with a 7 year warranty. Our competitors typically only give a 1 year warranty on their parts and labor when they install a new door. Thank you Mr. Rizoli for calling us back and going with the first option. We appreciate your business and your recognizing that we do provide a great deal of value.

Both the technician who originally visited when the order was placed, and the technicians who made the installation were timely, friendly, competent, and explained the problem and solutions. Job was completed efficiently, and the job site left clean and neat.

Five stars for Duane -- he was wonderful. He knew what he was talking about and offered additional advice about the quality of the original installation. His assessment of the situation and his initial quote were accurate, and he fixed the door quickly on the second visit and was very professional and respectful both times. However, I'm less than thrilled with Precision Door's pricing policy. I paid the $250 emergency fee the day I broke the door, May 16, to have someone come out and fix it that same day (it was Duane who came out that first time too). I was told that the bottom panel of the door would have to be replaced. So ultimately, I paid $250 to have my garage door closed and unplugged -- something I could and would have done myself. I was then still charged the full $450 price to have the repair done.

As it was explained when you booked the call, we charge an emergency service call after 8 pm. 80% of which goes to the technician to pay him for working beyond his normal 10 hour day. To then give you credit for the emergency service fee would make any business sense. Again we are sorry that you were dissapointed with our pricing, but we did give you the option to wait until normal business hours.

We received an appointment for a repair in less than 24 hours. The problem was diagnosed in about 2 minutes from the time the technicians arrived. The entire repair (pulley replacement for two doors) was complete in about 45 minutes. Brian and Scott were wonderful. Thank you! Will definitely recommend!!
