We contacted Precision Door Service for help with our recently installed garage door opener/motor. We were able to arrange a service call for the next day. Two highly capable service representatives respond to our call and quickly identified a problem with our door sensor. They corrected the problem and greased our door railings and rollers. We could not be more pleased with their professionalism and ability to quickly diagnose and correct our problem.

Luis called me a day early and said he could squeeze me in. He suggested a new motor instead of a new sensor for a 17-year-old motor (good money after bad). He was prepared to install it right away and did so. He then stayed to teach me how to program my garage code and my Iphone. A good experience all around.

We used Precision Garage Door a year ago for general maintenance; just a check up, cleaning and greasing. Today, one of our garage doors was not working, and they fixed that too. I found Precision on the web...called them and spoke to Cameron - super nice gentleman very polite and setup the appointment very quickly. Mike W showed up for the appt - actually early, unheard of in the service industry. He was extremely casual and informal with his approach..."F" this. "F" that...luckily my wife was not privy to this - she would have been taken aback (and I do believe Mike would have been more balanced in front of her). The reason for 3-star rating is the pricing - I had the wall control replaced which retails on the manufacturer site for $45.99 and on Amazon for $40.99 w/prime. I was charged $108.00 for it, $86 for installation, $165 for spray lubing all the 3 door and $105 for the service call. Luckily I had a coupon for the service call and saved that amount. Did not have the presence of mind to share the part pricing with Mike when he was at our home - I am sure he would have matched that price. My advice - please do your research before and during and share that with technician.

Mike was excellent. He was very pleasant to have working in the house. He replaced the motor. The current door is 14 years old, so we will be replacing the door as well.

I've had both Paul and Mike service my door. Both were knowledgable, professional and pleasant, and they quickly remedied my garage door problem, as well as told me how to perform regular maintenance on my own. They called ahead of their visit, giving me an ETA so I could use my time efficiently.

I was very happy that Precision Garage Doors was able to come out the day after I called and were there ahead of schedule. You know exactly which mechanic is coming as they give you his name and picture ahead of time. The repair (broken spring on an old garage door) went very quicky and lifts more smoothly than before the spring broke. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I think the price was fairly high. About $500 total, mostly for parts. Sears might have been cheaper, but they couldn't come for about a week. So the speedy service was appreciated.

When my garage door wouldn't open and my car was stuck inside, I initially called the company that installed it and was told they couldn't send anyone out today, and that "you're not the only one with a broken garage door." What a nice change to call Precision, where the very pleasant receptionist went out of her way to see if she could help get someone out to my house. Paul gave me a call to say he was on his way and showed up shortly thereafter. He quickly fixed the problem, added new quiet rollers, and was on his way. Paul was extremely professional, competent and pleasant. I will definitely call Precision again, and will recommend it to others. Thank you!
