Precision Garage Door did some major work on my garage door about 4 years ago. Over time, the door was starting to loosen so that it didn’t always stay up. Since I had a 5 year warranty for parts and labor, I called Precision back to have the work done. I was pleasantly shocked when they had a technician available to come out today, the day I called. And the technician they sent, Dylan, could not have been better. He’d already read the previous work order from 4 years ago before he even arrived, then he quickly analyzed the current issues, repaired everything perfectly and quickly, and explained clearly everything he’d done. Along with his obvious expertise and competence, he also could not have been a nicer person. Because of Dylan, I’m giving Precision 5 stars, but wish I could give many more. FYI, the warranty covered all parts and labor, leaving me to pay only a reasonable service fee, which was outside the 5 year parts and labor warranty. I will definitely do business with Precision Garage Door again and ask specifically for Dylan when I need garage door service in the future.

I missed the call, but I also got a email and a text letting me know that Brian was on his way and he arrived on time, despite the long distance. He was helpful and friendly. He listened to all the issues I raised and responded to all of them. My house is 100 years old, with a waste pipe and gas pipes in the way, so of course things are more complicated. I appreciated his explanation of the options and attention to detail. Because of the complications, I still have to consider my next step. I think in a less complicated situation, I could have moved ahead.

Our garage door spring snapped on New Years Eve. We use the garage as our main entry to the house most of the time. I found Precision through a Google search and reviews and I’m so glad. I scheduled online with their scheduling tool - so easy - and then they called to see if they could come a day early as they were nearby. The gentleman who did the repairs was so nice, explained everything, and was done in just about an hour. The job is complete and everything is working great - two days after it broke!

A great company. Very responsive. Member of the BBB. Have never had a problem with them. The technician I’ve met with has been very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Couldn’t recommend more highly. The categories offered for reason for appointment don’t cover my situation. I thought my garage door had become noisy after being painted. But then it was less so when the technician came. He explained that if a knife isn’t used after painting the door, to make sure the garage door panels aren’t stuck together by the paint in a way that makes it hard for the panels to separate in movement, the garage door motor has to work harder to pull the door until the paint finally separates on its own. Guess mine separated ok a day or so before he came. The door was quieter and he reassured me that it was operating as it should.

After months of watching YouTube videos, reading manuals and changing batteries and light bulbs to get the garage door opener to work I finally contacted Precision Door Service. They sent Lloyd two days later. (It wasn't an emergency.) In less than 45 minutes he fixed everything and gave us instruction on how to manage any malfunctions in the future. Since it is a two car garage the door is very wide and heavy. Lloyd lubricated the coils and tracks and fine tuned the opening and closing of the door. Much more than we expected. Lloyd was very professional and friendly. We are very pleased with the work and would recommend this service to anyone having problems with their garage door.
