Duane McCabe,provided the estimate for the job to be done. He was prompt(actually early) to the appointment he was knowledgeable and answered all question his recommendations made sense. I asked him if he would be the installer of the equipment. He replied in the negative to wit I told him I was disappointed because in a short hour I trusted him. The above may sound a little maudlin, but I purchase costly items based on knowledge of product and trust in the individual/company. let's hope that the crew that installs everything lives up to my expectations.

Mr. Alpert, All of our employees are as knowledgeable as Duane. In fact, my installers each have a minimum of 10 years experience and most have actually owned their own garage door companies in the past. I guarantee that the job will be done professionally and done right.

I liked the fact that Precision was very accommodating and willing to work around my scheduled. That was only exceeded by the wonderful service that Tom Rinaldi provided. He was very efficient in diagnosing and repairing the problems plus offered additional advise and maintenance with the other garage door. I was very pleased!

Great experience overall! I originally was going to just have the garage door system repaired but the tech that came out, Gary, said it was in need of so much repair that a new system was the better (and lower cost) way to go. The existing garage door system really was awful, rotting and rusting away, but I didn't realize just how dangerous it was until Gary talked to me about it. After I decided to go with the new door and hardware the process went very smoothly. Precision met the timelines and cost that I was quoted and kept me informed throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Precision!

The tech checked out the doors, recommended a few improvements, but didn't try to sell anything, which was great. He replaced the metal rollers with nylon ones, and installed safety cables. Was in an out in what felt like an hour. Super job!

I called precision at 3pm and they were at our house at 4:15pm. Our garage door had broken springs and pulleys, the door was off-line and would not open from the transponder. Our Technician Tom, was fast efficient and knowledgable. He did a complete tune up replacing all wheels and pulleys, putting in new electronic eyes and even programming our car built in transponder. All this with no hassles. The door operates like new again, Thank You Precision!!

The technician came on the earlier time of appointment and fixed the problem quickly. It was a realignment of sensor eyes so garage door closed. Tom also added another bolt to ceiling fixture since he saw it was loose. This is at least the third time I have used Precision Doors and would recommend them.

I was very impressed with the services provided by your team; from the initial call to book the appointment, to the confirmation before the technician arrived, to the final work completed. Everyone was friendly and professional. Repairs were completed by someone very knowledgeable who quickly repaired the garage door at a reasonable price. The quality of the work and the fast turn around time were key as I could not close the door due to the damage and the weather has started to be very cold and icy.

I have been using Precision to service my garage doors since 2006. I found the service technician friendly and knowledgable. I called this time because a cable broke. I was hoping to just replace the cable. Gary reviewed our system and pointed out what needed to be replaced. I had him replace the springs, cables and rollers on both doors. This was more service than I had planned on, I believe that it will avoid further problems and service calls.

Matt arrived early and diagnosed a sprocket that needed replacement. Unfortunately, he had already used the three in his truck that day and said he would have to come back first thing in the morning of the following day. He said he would be here at 8:30, but arrived early around 8:00 and completed the replacement and had the door running like new. This was a very professional experience for us overall and it's a pleasure to have a technician with skill and a great personality, too. I recommend Precision Door Service for quality work.

I learned about Precision through my AAA membership and took advantage of an offer for a Tune Up for my 2 garage door openers. Gary called to say he was on the way and arrived on time for the appointment. He was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a full rebuild, replacing with better quality springs, cables, rollers. Although I hoped the Tune Up plus a new cable would suffice, Gary convinced me it would be worth it to replace all the junky parts. He did an extremely professional job, finished within 90 minutes, and now my garage door openers seem like new, with a 7 yr warranty on parts and labor. I must admit I suffered sticker shock at the price of the rebuild but I am happy with the outcome. I'm no longer worried about my doors failing this winter. Gary refused my tip.

Though the work done was professional, I'm disappointed that a discount offerend by the Auto Club of America was not honored, due to a clerical error.

As we tried to explain to Mr. Mclean, the AAA members deal was a promotion that we did with AAA as a benefit to their members. When customers book their appointment with us we always mention that they needed to purchase the coupon prior to our arrival and to present the coupon to the technician. For us to have sold Mr. Mclean a coupon on the spot would have been a breach of our agreement with AAA as well as being unethical. We are sorry that things didn't workout the way he had hoped, but we honor our contractual relationships.

I was scheduled for a service call today (11/20) between 2 and 4 PM. Received a call from Precision asking if the technician could come at 9:00 AM to which I said was ok. Around 10:00 AM the technician had not arrived and I called Precision to inquire as to where the technician was. I was told that the technician would arrive within five (5) minutes and he did. I was never offered an explanation or apology as to why the technician was an hour late.

As we discussed in our telephone conversation, we are very sorry that you feel we didn't live up to our customer service standards. We do, however, book calls in a two hour window. We do this because it is impossible to predict with certainty when we will arrive. In this case, our technician got stuck in traffic -- a 35 minute delay on the interstate. I am glad that you feel we did a good job while fixing your garage door.

I originally was only replacing my garage door system rollers with nylon ones (with a discount coupon from AAA)but knew that there were other safety issues that needed to be addressed.When Duane, the service technician,arrived, he pointed out that the springs and other parts of the system were unsafe at this point. We talked about options, and came to a decision to do a rebuild which replaced the springs, cables, pulleys and rollers at half the cost of replacing the doors. Not only are my doors quieter, but I know that they are safer. Duane worked efficiently and explained how to keep the system in good working order. I was very pleased with both the process and the work. Thank you Precision.

Duane did a great job, came right on time and solved the problem right away. He gave us some options but in the end we went with replacing a 30 yearn old opener that had been giving us trouble, on and off, for the last year or so. He showed us how everything worked before he left.

Brian did a great job with the install. Everything was done neatly and well explained. The old doors were removed along with the old openers. Everything works fine. Having the keypad entry on the outside is a nice new feature for us.
