Matt arrived early and diagnosed a sprocket that needed replacement. Unfortunately, he had already used the three in his truck that day and said he would have to come back first thing in the morning of the following day. He said he would be here at 8:30, but arrived early around 8:00 and completed the replacement and had the door running like new. This was a very professional experience for us overall and it's a pleasure to have a technician with skill and a great personality, too. I recommend Precision Door Service for quality work.

I learned about Precision through my AAA membership and took advantage of an offer for a Tune Up for my 2 garage door openers. Gary called to say he was on the way and arrived on time for the appointment. He was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a full rebuild, replacing with better quality springs, cables, rollers. Although I hoped the Tune Up plus a new cable would suffice, Gary convinced me it would be worth it to replace all the junky parts. He did an extremely professional job, finished within 90 minutes, and now my garage door openers seem like new, with a 7 yr warranty on parts and labor. I must admit I suffered sticker shock at the price of the rebuild but I am happy with the outcome. I'm no longer worried about my doors failing this winter. Gary refused my tip.

Though the work done was professional, I'm disappointed that a discount offerend by the Auto Club of America was not honored, due to a clerical error.

As we tried to explain to Mr. Mclean, the AAA members deal was a promotion that we did with AAA as a benefit to their members. When customers book their appointment with us we always mention that they needed to purchase the coupon prior to our arrival and to present the coupon to the technician. For us to have sold Mr. Mclean a coupon on the spot would have been a breach of our agreement with AAA as well as being unethical. We are sorry that things didn't workout the way he had hoped, but we honor our contractual relationships.

I was scheduled for a service call today (11/20) between 2 and 4 PM. Received a call from Precision asking if the technician could come at 9:00 AM to which I said was ok. Around 10:00 AM the technician had not arrived and I called Precision to inquire as to where the technician was. I was told that the technician would arrive within five (5) minutes and he did. I was never offered an explanation or apology as to why the technician was an hour late.

As we discussed in our telephone conversation, we are very sorry that you feel we didn't live up to our customer service standards. We do, however, book calls in a two hour window. We do this because it is impossible to predict with certainty when we will arrive. In this case, our technician got stuck in traffic -- a 35 minute delay on the interstate. I am glad that you feel we did a good job while fixing your garage door.

I originally was only replacing my garage door system rollers with nylon ones (with a discount coupon from AAA)but knew that there were other safety issues that needed to be addressed.When Duane, the service technician,arrived, he pointed out that the springs and other parts of the system were unsafe at this point. We talked about options, and came to a decision to do a rebuild which replaced the springs, cables, pulleys and rollers at half the cost of replacing the doors. Not only are my doors quieter, but I know that they are safer. Duane worked efficiently and explained how to keep the system in good working order. I was very pleased with both the process and the work. Thank you Precision.

We had a broken cable replaced. The service was prompt and very good. There was no "up-selling" involved. The tech checked the workings of the door, pointed out, very clearly, what was at issue and replaced the necessary parts. I would use them again.

Duane did a great job, came right on time and solved the problem right away. He gave us some options but in the end we went with replacing a 30 yearn old opener that had been giving us trouble, on and off, for the last year or so. He showed us how everything worked before he left.

Brian did a great job with the install. Everything was done neatly and well explained. The old doors were removed along with the old openers. Everything works fine. Having the keypad entry on the outside is a nice new feature for us.

Matt was great, fixed the issues within 20 minutes. The reason for a 3 star and not a 5 is that i was very surprised at how expensive the service was. In the future I'll have to shop pricing more carefully.

Thank you for your comments. We do provide the best quality parts on the market and, as a result, provide the longest warranty. Without a doubt you can find cheaper springs at the major home improvement stores. They, however, come with a 90-day warranty instead of our typical one to two years.

The technician was polite and courteous. He explained the problem clearly and implemented the repair. He took the time to answer my questions. The service was excellent.

I don't give five stars lightly... these guys have wowed me twice. They repaired our garage door several years ago promptly and for a reasonable price. The door is old and gets a lot of use. On Sunday night we found that we had a broken spring. I called on Monday shortly after 7 a.m. and was told that they would have someone out before 10 a.m. Within two hours of my call, the door was fully repaired. That is incredible service for a Monday morning. Thanks!

Researched online (yelp, angieslist, etc.) for someone to replace our old garage door opener with a new one that we bought ourselves from Costco. Called several places. Precision's estimate was competitive with the other bids. They were able to send someone on the same day -- which took me by surprise. I was thinking that it wouldn't be able to send someone for several days. Duane, the technician, arrived on time. He answered all my questions, and even shared some suggestions on how to keep the garage door (and opener) in good condition. He was very thorough in his work and didn't leave a mess. After he installed everything, he tested the opener and made sure everything was working. I'm a stickler for details, and Duane did a great job. Duane was courteous and very professional. Excellent experience with Precision. I would definitely recommend them.
