In order to be fair I will score based on each aspect of my experience. I called precision because my web search found them first with advertised same day service. Prompt service grade 1.. I was told two day wait. Actual service performed by the technician was pleasant and efficient. Grade 5. Cost was very high.the repair was simple, replace cables $198.. Grade 1
We are sorry that we didn't live up to your expectations. We did listen to the phone call... we offered you earlier appointments they simply didn't fit with your schedule. As a result I'm not sure its fair to grade us on a two day wait! As indicated by your safety survey report indicates, there was a lot of issues with your door. The cables were broken (which we replaced), but we did have to spend time adjusting other parts to make sure the door would work properly. We still recommend you address the issues we suggested -- even if you go to another garage door company. If not you are going to have serious issues with your door in a couple years. Again we apologize that we were unable to provide you the level of service you expected.

We had a garage door that was out of alignment. The service technician arrived early in the 2 hour commitment window, and identified the problem almost immediately. Before he left, the parts were already on order, with a promise they'd be ready to install 'early next week'. Not 3 hours later I got a call to schedule the parts replacement the following Monday. Terrific service, and fair prices - what more could you ask for!

I had a very prompt , knowledgeable employee from Precision Door service show up at my home when I needed him the most. His name was Felipe, and he got right to it, showed me what went wrong with my cables, and explained my bill to me. I was more than pleased with how my entire transaction occurred from start to finish. The young lady that took my call was very pleasant and quick, I loved how the email confirmation showed me exactly who would show up to my home. After reading the customer reviews, I decided to go with Precision for the repairs on my garage door. I made the right decision. From start to finish, you couldn't have asked for a better experience. When I called, the person that I spoke to was friendly and pleasant. Service was provided quickly.....a technician was at my house in less than 24 hours to make the repairs to the garage door. The technician, Brian, was professional, polite, and even arrived a little earlier than the scheduled appointment time. He did an appraisal and told me what needed to be done and what the cost would be for the repairs. Brian was efficient and the repairs took less than 45 minutes to perform. I liked it that there was no "hard sell" to purchase something that I did not need or want and that the company gives a 10% Senior Discount. I will not hesitate to recommend Precision Door Service.

He wanted to get the door to operate as close as he could to perfection and made a second trip to bring a new circuit board. After a couple of adjustments he got just the right setting. Ron impressed me with his knowledge, persistence and courtesy. He is an outstanding professional and a credit to your organization.

Great experience with this company. Initially they said I was out of their area but they would come to my home anyway. Couldn't ask for better service. My technician, Ron Lecours, was on time, very professional and very knowledgeable about the products and what I needed to fix my garage door. I am extremely happy with his workmanship. I originally thought I needed a new motor but actually Ron found I needed new springs, cable, and rollers. The door works beautifully and I can wait to have an updated motor installed.

The end of April, 2015, my husband and I had a "new" garage door installed; plus, a "new" motor. There were numerous installations that were necessary. Both my husband and I were very happy with the expertise and knowledge that our TECH, Derek desJardins, gave us. He explained and demonstrated to us both how to operate our newly installed garage door; motor, our controls, etc. He mentioned our guarantees from a belt, roller, and garage panels. He really didn't miss a beat! We were not only impressed with how much heat we were saving or that, now, we have a snug fit with our "new" garage door. Before, we felt we were heating the outdoors.
