Service technician assessed my situation, made a recommendation, walked me through a multi-page glossy brochure showing a variety of door styles, and once I made a decision, took measurements and gave me a firm quote. He also pointed out that one model was at a bargain price this month and would rise in price in 2018. (The fellow who came to my house was Barry Williams -- confident and convincing.) The next day, Precision called me to double-check the components of my order, get a deposit, and agree on an installation date. They gave me a reminder call the day before installation, which was an incentive for me to clean out the garage of all those items I had stored there because one day I might need them. I was fortunate to have their best installation team -- Rob and Orlando. They were a real pleasure to work with, even placing door handles to match my height and reach to enable me to open and close the door in the event of power failure. They also showed me how to maintain the door mechanism in future years. And they cleaned up afterward! An all-around professional company, with a motivated staff.

I am thrilled with the service I received from Precision Door. On November 22nd, our automatic garage door that was original with the condo (built in 1996) died. We called Precision (and a few other places) and they were the only ones who could come out the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The door itself came in three weeks later, and installation was scheduled for January 4th. If you're from New England, you know that we just had a enormous nor'easter that was projected to drop 12"-16" on us starting the morning of January 4th. We were told it was up to our technician if he feels comfortable or not coming to install in the morning with bad weather. Our tech, Rob, showed up at 6:45am so he could have enough time to get the door installed before the storm intensified. He finished installation around 9:00am when we already had a few inches on the ground. I am so very thankful to Rob for doing this and truly going above and beyond. If he couldn't, Precision was going to push installation out another week, but we were lucky enough to have a phenomenal technician assigned to our case. Thank you Rob!!! Gave 4 starts instead of 5 because it did take a month and a half to get the new door which seemed like a long time. There were certainly ways they could've expedited, but chose not too. (for example, they wait 2ish weeks for the door to come in, THEN they schedule the installation. They should schedule installation when they order the door, in my opinion).

When our garage door opener stopped working, I started calling random numbers for a repair and the quickest appointment I could get was two and a half weeks later. I kept trying and landed on Precision and saw the excellent reviews. I called and did, indeed, speak to a human who was able to get me an appointment in two days. She sent me an email confirmation of the appointment, named the repairman, and sent a photo for recognition purposes. This a very reassuring touch. The repairman, Barry, called an hour ahead of time and said he could come an hour sooner, if that was acceptable. I was delighted! He arrived, assessed the problem and immediately knew we needed a new sprocket. As advertised, the replacement part was stocked in his truck. Within a half hour the opener was not only working, but working more smoothly than it has in years. Barry was polite, efficient, and obviously knowledgeable. I am extremely pleased with his work and with Precision.

I got a little impatient and and couldn't wait for the door to fully open before backing my new SUV into the garage. As a result I knocked my door off the house. A little help from Google and one phone call and 2 hours later Mike Thurber arrived and fixed my door with in an hour. Mike was a great guy to deal with, very knowledgeable and courtesy. After fixing my door he pointed out some possible future maintenance of replacing my door rollers. I figured that since he was there I would take a preventative step and replace the rollers. Glad I did, the doors are virtually quiet when opening or closing! I would strongly recommend Mike and OGPDS!
