Just had a weatherstrip replaced on one of my doors. (only lasted 7 years). Although I found the cost to be a bit expensive, the technician was fantastic. He greeted me very professionally was all smiles and did a great job. Mike Maghakian did a great job and was super easy going. Very satisfied with the service he provided.

Had a great experience with tech Jacob. Garage door rollers had been jumping tracks, he replaced tracks & rollers, and installed other new components to make it work better than before. The service provided by the technician, Fran Garvey, was excellent. He was on-time, diagnosed the repairs needed and gave me an estimate on-the-spot. Fran replaced spring, rollers, and cables. All parts were available on the truck, so Fran immediately set to work and the whole repair/replacement was completed in two hours. I would give the repair call 5 Stars. He was terrific! The reason for the 4 Star rating had nothing to do with the actual repairs or the technician. The original day and time set by Precision Door for the repairs was Saturday morning with a window of 8:00 - 10:00 AM. I received a call at 8:30 AM informing that there was a problem with the vehicle and it would be necessary to reschedule for another day. The second appointment was scheduled for Tuesday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Neighbors in the Condo Community have suggested that the a price seemed quite high as well.

So the repair technician just this minute left and I'll be honest I'm a little surprised. I was quoted $599 for a five year warranty and $799 for a seven year warranty. When I said I'd take the five year the price was re-quoted as $699. I thought it was for the entire job but it was per door, I had two repaired. Anyway the guy was here for less than an hour, maybe 50 minutes. He replaced the springs, some cables and the pulleys from what I can see. He also replace one keypad with an new remote. Total cost was $1633. For less than an hour's work and the materials he replaced it seems extremely expensive. I'm not sure if the cost is really for the warranty but $1600 for fifty minutes of work and a couple components is perhaps the most overpriced transaction I've witnessed in a very very long time.

From the beginning the process has been great. When Mike came the 1st day to attempt to fix the garage door (without success) until Mike T came and replaced the door the service has been great. Both men did a professional and clean job in a timely fashion. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Precision to anyone.
