I called at 7 AM on a Saturday morning asking for emergency help as my garage door broken in the closed position late Friday night, and I had movers coming to pick up furniture that was stored at the garage level on Monday. There is no other door to exit the garage other than the full garage door. This move had been set up months in advance and I asked for an appointment as soon as possible. When I was offered an appointment on Tuesday, I told the operator about the issue and she then came back with the offer of a Monday appointment between 12 and 2. I took it, figuring that if the door could be fixed, with the movers coming late Monday it might work out. On Monday, no one showed up and we did not get the call telling us when the person would show up, so we called in at 12:30 for an ETA and were told the repairman would call us. No one called back, despite out calling a couple of times and finally at 5:05 PM we got a call saying that no one was coming and they would give us an appointment the following Friday. We called back and just got the answering service people who told us to call on Tuesday morning. Of course, the move was totally screwed up by then. On Tuesday morning we called the office and were told that a repairman was coming between 12 and 2. This was the original appointment that I was offered the previous Saturday morning. When the repairman came, he said that he never had any appointment for us on Monday and that we were always scheduled for Tuesday. Someone in your organization was out and out lying to us. I can only assume that on Saturday, your organization feared that if you did not say someone would be there on Monday, I would call someone else, so you just lied to me about coming on Monday, when you never had any intent to have anyone show up on Monday. All your advertisements talk about same day service, etc. but you just did not come through for us. We had to delay the move and the next date we got was the end of August which is very disappointing. At least the repairman who showed up on Tuesday solved the problem and did a nice job. That is the only reason that I am not giving this a 1 star rating.

Technician Mike M. called ahead & was able to arrive 1 hr. earlier than scheduled (worked out great for me!.) Basically rebuilt 1 of my 2 garage doors; cleaned/lubed/balanced both. The quality of parts he used were much higher than the OEM parts they replaced: cast-iron (as opposed to stamped steel) pulleys; heavier-duty cables; sealed bearing rollers, etc. He worked quickly & efficiently. I'm very happy with the work performed by Mike & Precision, & will get Mike back out here when the 2nd door inevitably needs a rebuild.

I was initially impressed that the company sent me photos of the workmen who might come, saying "Don't invite strangers into your home.". The people who have come to service my garage door have been polite, efficient, professional, and really knew how to diagnose a problem. Both (two years apart) have worked quickly to make the door work better, besides getting rid of the problem that I called about.

This is the second time my new garage door has broken since it was installed a number of months ago. The break-downs have been attributed to faulty wiring during the initial installation. The first time the door broke down, the repair didn't work. The staff has been polite, but I am concerned about the quality of the installation.

Mike was great. We have a very old door and when 1 spring broke nothing worked. Mike showed up on time. He did all he could to remove the old spring. It was about 40 years old so that task was impossible. We agreed to purchase a new door. Mike was very helpful in this process. When we made our choice, it will be 3 weeks before it can be installed so Mike tried again to just fix it temporarily for the 3 weeks but again the spring was not coming out. So we are waiting for our new door. We are very happy to have contacted Precision and look forward to the installation. We would recommend Precision.

Rob was my technician and I have never seen a guy that was so well organized and neat in his work. He cleaned up as he went along and when he was totally done install the doors and openers all he had to clean up was his tools. I still need the decorative window trim for one garage door which did not arrive with the door. Rob assured me that as soon as it came into the shop he would bring it out and install it. If the doors last as long as the service was good, I will have many years of good use. Thank you Rob and Precision !!

I will give you a 0 if I could. You charge me $105 to tell me exactly what I knew and the spring is broken. Then you tell me it so $600 to $700 for unnecessary work. The spring on the other side was replace two years ago for less than $200 and the best you can do is $400. All the additional parts and repairs were not needed. You are a disgrace to the service industry. The $105 was theft.

Recently moved to this area and relying on ads and reviews to find service companies. I was really pleased from my first call to request service ( 6pm on a Saturday) and actually spoke to a very helpful guy who scheduled me right away. Came next day to repair broken torsion spring. Service took less than an hour. Mike was pleasant, professional and did an excellent job. Only negative is that the $519 price for the repair seems very high.

Prior to his arrival, I brought my wife home from the hospital and informed her of the problem and she recognized what the resolution was, so by the time he arrived, the problem was solved but he fine-tuned the system making sure that all the links and bearings were lubricated accordingly. I had the lift system on my garage door replaced today. When the technician showed up he quoted me a price of $649. Because I couldn't get my car out and I didn't want to leave my house open, I agreed. After the work was done I checked online on what that type of repair should cost. The highest price I saw was around $300. He was here for 1 HOUR. You guys charged me more than double what it should have been. I think I deserve an adjusted charge. I would like to hear from you about this. If I don't, I will call my credit card company.

As an emergency service provider my staff clearly understands service. When one of our doors was damaged the crew from Precision was on site the day and time they said they would be, made the needed repairs in a quick neat manner. After the repairs were made they took the time to go thru the door and opener and made suggestions on how to prevent further damage. A second appointment was made with in a couple of weeks ( once the needed parts arrived) and they once again showed up on time and competed the work as promised and for the quoted price. We will be calling them again to schedule a visit to look at the remainder of our 5 large glass doors and to look at our other building with 3 doors. THANKS !!!
