The springs on our electric garage door were stretching out. One set was worse than the other. We were able to het an appointment fairly quickly. We called on a Friday and hit an appointment for the following Monday. I appreciated getting a text message with the name and photo of the person coming to do this repair. It out my mind at ease to know who was coming. Jesse, our garage door repairman arrived a little bit earlier, but had notified us prior to arriving to let us know. He was very personable, professional, efficient and instructive. He assessed the situation, told us what needed to be done and gave us the price for the labor and parts. He should us where we needed to lubricate the rails and the hinges on the door, and how frequently we should do this. He told us what type of lubricant to use and explained why this particular type is most effective. Jesse completed the work in a timely manner and left the areas where he worked clean.

We chose Precision when a cable broke on our automatic garage door. They had good reviews, were very responsive and got me an appointment within three days (which was better than more expensive competition). Our technician, Jacob, contacted us ahead of time to see if he could come early which worked out well for us. He was on time, super courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He gave us options to consider and that helped in our decision making to do a rebuild with a 5 year warranty rather than a smaller fix. Turns out our other cable was close to breaking too so that was a cost-efficient decision too. Very pleased with his work and the company’s professionalism.

We were very happy to get same day service as we were expecting to have to wait at least a few days. Technician was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. While we could’ve repaired the system we had, it was old and we knew it was time. Ron also did a quick fix to our garage door. Very happy with the service. Looked into Precision’s ratings and reviews and scheduled a garage door opener repair. Although, I needed to wait several weeks for an appointment, it was not an issue for me. Jacob called before he came and diagnosed the issues. He reviewed the alternatives and I decided to replace the garage door opener which also included a new external key pad and indoor unit. I was quite surprised at the prices but have not replaced a garage door opener in several decades. Jacob fully explained and demonstrated all of the new options and reviewed the various warranties on labor, parts and motor. Finally, he updated the remote opener function in my car; really exceptional knowledge and service. After the fact, I saw that Precision had texted that the technician was on his way, and included his picture and name. This was a great enhancement to customer service.

Jesse was professional and helpful and kind. Appointment was made for the next day after I called so thanks for that. Don’t love when big things need to be fixed but understand wear and tear. Did have to get a new motor.
