I had Precision Garage Door out to my house and was very happy with the service I received from them. The assigned tech took the time to called me in advance to let me know he was on his way and how long it would be before he arrived. When the tech did arrive, he immediately identified himself, and was both professional and personable. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed the issue and providing me three very affordable options to fix my garage door, taking the time to explain, in detail, each option and the benefit of each, without trying to up-sell me, I felt no pressure to pick any option over another.

Extremely disappointed. When the technician arrived he barely looked at our doors and began trying to sell us on a complete re-build of both doors. All we wanted was spring replacement on one door. The price quoted was more than 10 times the cost of a pair of springs. Felt like pressure to pick the complete re-build. I will do the repair myself and save hundreds. If your business model is to sell complete door re-builds, you should be honest on your website.

My garage door was extremely difficult to open and close and I suspected there could be multiple problems that needed to be corrected. The technician called to ask if he could arrive early and he did just that. He inspected the door and the opener thoroughly and found numerous problems including code violations. It was clear to me that this technician really knew his stuff; he was knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful. I agreed with his recommendations 100%. We agreed on a course of action and work will proceed once materials are available. Before calling Precision I had studied their reviews which were excellent and instrumental in me calling them and being very comfortable with the recommendations that I received.

Mike called to say he'd be early and was true to his word, a characteristic he consistently demonstrated. A badly rusted cable had broken, causing the 165 lb. door to slam to the ground. He showed me how 27 years had degraded both doors and showed me exactly what was needed to fix them. True to his word, he did what he said he'd do in an hour and a half. Not super cheap but a five year warrantee lessened the pain. A really terrific job! Thanks, Mike.
