Had a great experience with tech Jacob. Garage door rollers had been jumping tracks, he replaced tracks & rollers, and installed other new components to make it work better than before. Once again Precision was outstanding. I had my choice of prompt appointment times and received a call from the technician letting me know when he would arrive. Fran was very professional and found a creative solution to our issue. Every door is different and he used his ingenuity and skills to make sure our door was working properly again. The service provided by the technician, Fran Garvey, was excellent. He was on-time, diagnosed the repairs needed and gave me an estimate on-the-spot. Fran replaced spring, rollers, and cables. All parts were available on the truck, so Fran immediately set to work and the whole repair/replacement was completed in two hours. I would give the repair call 5 Stars. He was terrific! The reason for the 4 Star rating had nothing to do with the actual repairs or the technician. The original day and time set by Precision Door for the repairs was Saturday morning with a window of 8:00 - 10:00 AM. I received a call at 8:30 AM informing that there was a problem with the vehicle and it would be necessary to reschedule for another day. The second appointment was scheduled for Tuesday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Neighbors in the Condo Community have suggested that the a price seemed quite high as well.

Last year I had a garage door opener installed. This year it stopped working due to a manufacturing defect. Precision door came out and identified the issue and covered it fully under warranty. Very impressed with their service and attitude. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

I called at 7 AM on a Saturday morning asking for emergency help as my garage door broken in the closed position late Friday night, and I had movers coming to pick up furniture that was stored at the garage level on Monday. There is no other door to exit the garage other than the full garage door. This move had been set up months in advance and I asked for an appointment as soon as possible. When I was offered an appointment on Tuesday, I told the operator about the issue and she then came back with the offer of a Monday appointment between 12 and 2. I took it, figuring that if the door could be fixed, with the movers coming late Monday it might work out. On Monday, no one showed up and we did not get the call telling us when the person would show up, so we called in at 12:30 for an ETA and were told the repairman would call us. No one called back, despite out calling a couple of times and finally at 5:05 PM we got a call saying that no one was coming and they would give us an appointment the following Friday. We called back and just got the answering service people who told us to call on Tuesday morning. Of course, the move was totally screwed up by then. On Tuesday morning we called the office and were told that a repairman was coming between 12 and 2. This was the original appointment that I was offered the previous Saturday morning. When the repairman came, he said that he never had any appointment for us on Monday and that we were always scheduled for Tuesday. Someone in your organization was out and out lying to us. I can only assume that on Saturday, your organization feared that if you did not say someone would be there on Monday, I would call someone else, so you just lied to me about coming on Monday, when you never had any intent to have anyone show up on Monday. All your advertisements talk about same day service, etc. but you just did not come through for us. We had to delay the move and the next date we got was the end of August which is very disappointing. At least the repairman who showed up on Tuesday solved the problem and did a nice job. That is the only reason that I am not giving this a 1 star rating.

I was initially impressed that the company sent me photos of the workmen who might come, saying "Don't invite strangers into your home.". The people who have come to service my garage door have been polite, efficient, professional, and really knew how to diagnose a problem. Both (two years apart) have worked quickly to make the door work better, besides getting rid of the problem that I called about.

As an emergency service provider my staff clearly understands service. When one of our doors was damaged the crew from Precision was on site the day and time they said they would be, made the needed repairs in a quick neat manner. After the repairs were made they took the time to go thru the door and opener and made suggestions on how to prevent further damage. A second appointment was made with in a couple of weeks ( once the needed parts arrived) and they once again showed up on time and competed the work as promised and for the quoted price. We will be calling them again to schedule a visit to look at the remainder of our 5 large glass doors and to look at our other building with 3 doors. THANKS !!!

Today Paul serviced by garage door. He called before he arrived to give me his ETA. He was very good at diagnosing and fixing the problem. Paul called to say he was running ahead of schedule and arrived a few minutes later. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgable. After some discussion about the state of our doors and the need for replacements in the near future, he replaced the broken springs on one door and did some maintenance on the other two doors. Mike M was very professional, he explained all my options very thoroughly. After I chose an option he was done in under an hour. He also went out of his way and tidied up some loose hanging wires for no extra charge. I will definitely be calling him first for any future work.
