Looked into Precision’s ratings and reviews and scheduled a garage door opener repair. Although, I needed to wait several weeks for an appointment, it was not an issue for me. Jacob called before he came and diagnosed the issues. He reviewed the alternatives and I decided to replace the garage door opener which also included a new external key pad and indoor unit. I was quite surprised at the prices but have not replaced a garage door opener in several decades. Jacob fully explained and demonstrated all of the new options and reviewed the various warranties on labor, parts and motor. Finally, he updated the remote opener function in my car; really exceptional knowledge and service. After the fact, I saw that Precision had texted that the technician was on his way, and included his picture and name. This was a great enhancement to customer service.

Extremely disappointed. When the technician arrived he barely looked at our doors and began trying to sell us on a complete re-build of both doors. All we wanted was spring replacement on one door. The price quoted was more than 10 times the cost of a pair of springs. Felt like pressure to pick the complete re-build. I will do the repair myself and save hundreds. If your business model is to sell complete door re-builds, you should be honest on your website.

Everything went smoothly and quickly when tech got to my house. That was an hour and a half after time slot but I do understand that with this type of work you can get backed up in a hurry. We are replacing 50 yr old plus wooden garage door. Technician could not be more helpful in explaining options and listening to our concerns and thoughts for the replacement. He had excellent attention to detail. We ordered our door and can’t wait to see in installed! Called Precision for a broken door cable I was surprised at their quick response of their technician. Called on Monday and the service was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. I opted for the complete "rebuild" service which was was a change out of Cables, Rollers, Springs, etc. I was a bit taken back by the price I thought 699.00 was a bit high but hey what isn't expensive these days? I will say my door is operating smoothly and much quieter now!

I would give Paul 10 stars if it was possible because of how he engaged with my garage door obsessed child. He answered numerous questions, and was kind and encouraging through the whole process. This was definitely the highlight of my child's year! With regard to the actual service, Paul was knowledgeable and prompt. He clearly laid out our options for repair or replacement with information about the warranties. He was friendly and cheerful, and did not try to push more services than we wanted.
