The service tech came early and he really knew his stuff. Diagnosed a long-vexing problem quickly and solved it. I had one garage door that would never close and finally it works. He explained the work he was doing and why. I had three garage doors completely tuned and working like new. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I believe the price was fair and the entire experience was excellent.

I had a tough Garage door repair. I needed new springs which were special order (I have a 60 year old solid wood double garage door) and I needed a new Garage door opener. Gary was the technician on my job and although it was not a straight forward job, Gary and Precision Door Service kept me informed and completed my job as soon as possible and Gary did a great job. I would definitely recommend Precision Door Service.

Thank you for you comments. Our quote included new openers and the parts that would make your two garage door's counter balance system work properly. We do not like to install new openers on doors with counter balance systems that would void the warranty and prematurely damage the opener. Ultimately the customer makes the choice that is right for them.

Need to separate out the services performed and the cost. Five Stars: Thought Jason Padrick was great, thought the sevices performed were great, and the garage door is running smooth again. Two star: I thought $599 PLUS THE $79 service fee was WAY too much for the services performed plus the new hardware. I have the springs, cables, and pulleys replaced. That's it. Bottom line: I thought Jason did a great job. I think the services are WAY overpriced.

Thank you for your comments. Our prices reflect the quality of our parts. Your repair did include replacement of all the parts of your counter balance system and came with a 7 year warranty. Our competitors typically only give a 1 year warranty with the purchase of a new door and a 90-day warranty with repairs. Also, we did give you an option for fewer parts at a substantially reduced cost and a more limited warranty.

This was advertized as a tuneup with nylon rollers installed. I was hoping to make them open and close a little quieter. One did work better, the second door is still very noisy. The technician explained to my wife that this was because the door had been backed into. Live and learn. the service performed category below did not list tuneup.

Sometimes, however, the doors need more than a new set of rollers... sometimes they need to be replaced. It appears that your doors needed additional work, which we did recommend. We only use the best parts and provide a lifetime warranty on our doors and a 5 year warranty on the doors parts and our labor. Our competitors offer 1 year on parts and labor. Typically we are $50 to $100 more than our competitors, but our workmanship and warranty give our customers peace of mind as well as the best parts on the market!

I called on a Friday evening after the chain on my Liftmaster came off the cam, which had snapped. I was told that a tech would be here between 4-6 on Saturday, I received a call in the morning re-scheduling to between 10-12, even better. Jason showed up and explained the entire job to me and said it would take about 30-45 minutes. He replaced the cam and all my rollers and re-balanced the door and set the tension. It was a perfect door and I would not hesitate to recommend Precision to anyone in the future.

I had your tech repair my door and replace a number of parts. I was concerned over the cost he had quoted me but convinced me that the parts he was using were top notch. This was my fault for not researching how much the parts actually cost. You charged me $240 for a set of springs (Just the parts) and the rest of the parts and labor cost me $580. Looking online I see the exact same parts for a fraction of the cost. $60 to $80 for a set of springs and $35(for 10) for the special "11 bearing" rollers". Again my fault for being uninformed but I will not make the same mistake and use another company when it is time to do the other door. I also had a friend ask me about my door because he needed a new opener and I relayed the story so you will not be hearing from him.

We source the best parts we can find and that is why you received a 7 year warranty. Our competitors typically only give you a one year warranty with the purchase of a new door and 90 days with repairs. These warranties should clearly indicate the difference between the parts we use and those you researched. We also did give you an option to replace fewer parts at a substantially lower price. Over time you will be happy with the choice to go with the better warranty as you will more than likely never have an issue with your door.

Fantastic experience. Person who answered the phone was excellent -- she quickly set up an appointment that fit my schedule and even sent an email confirmation. Service was excellent. Ron called before his scheduled arrival time to see if he could come earlier than planned and it worked out great. Ron fully explained why my garage door was not operating properly and gave me options on repair. The work was done neatly and in a timely manner. Door works like new now. Happy customer here! 5 Stars!
