In order to be fair I will score based on each aspect of my experience. I called precision because my web search found them first with advertised same day service. Prompt service grade 1.. I was told two day wait. Actual service performed by the technician was pleasant and efficient. Grade 5. Cost was very high.the repair was simple, replace cables $198.. Grade 1

We are sorry that we didn't live up to your expectations. We did listen to the phone call... we offered you earlier appointments they simply didn't fit with your schedule. As a result I'm not sure its fair to grade us on a two day wait! As indicated by your safety survey report indicates, there was a lot of issues with your door. The cables were broken (which we replaced), but we did have to spend time adjusting other parts to make sure the door would work properly. We still recommend you address the issues we suggested -- even if you go to another garage door company. If not you are going to have serious issues with your door in a couple years. Again we apologize that we were unable to provide you the level of service you expected.

I chose Precision based on the customer reviews and information available on the website. The technician that came out was on the early side of the time window, he was friendly, to the point, clear and concise with the information that he provided. My husband and I came away with an education on garage doors! He was in and out in under an hour and our doors are quieter than they have been in years. Thank you.

We had a garage door that was out of alignment. The service technician arrived early in the 2 hour commitment window, and identified the problem almost immediately. Before he left, the parts were already on order, with a promise they'd be ready to install 'early next week'. Not 3 hours later I got a call to schedule the parts replacement the following Monday. Terrific service, and fair prices - what more could you ask for!

The technician, Brian, was professional, polite, and even arrived a little earlier than the scheduled appointment time. He did an appraisal and told me what needed to be done and what the cost would be for the repairs. Brian was efficient and the repairs took less than 45 minutes to perform. I liked it that there was no "hard sell" to purchase something that I did not need or want and that the company gives a 10% Senior Discount. I will not hesitate to recommend Precision Door Service.

A 5 star rating for Ron Lecous for his exceptional trouble shooting work to get one of our doors to close quietly. He wanted to get the door to operate as close as he could to perfection and made a second trip to bring a new circuit board. After a couple of adjustments he got just the right setting. Great experience with this company. Initially they said I was out of their area but they would come to my home anyway. Couldn't ask for better service. My technician, Ron Lecours, was on time, very professional and very knowledgeable about the products and what I needed to fix my garage door. I am extremely happy with his workmanship. I originally thought I needed a new motor but actually Ron found I needed new springs, cable, and rollers. The door works beautifully and I can wait to have an updated motor installed.
